Who we are

GET FUTURE is a youth-focused initiative working to make educational and career information more accessible to young people across South Africa. We work with learners, schools, mentors and partner organisations to put clear, practical information in the hands of the people who need it most.

A future where every young person, regardless of background or location, has access to the information and support they need to pursue meaningful education and career opportunities.

Why we exist

In too many schools, career guidance is a single assembly in Grade 11 and a stack of photocopied brochures. A learner with strong marks in Maths and Life Sciences can still miss an application deadline simply because nobody told her it existed. A learner who would thrive at a TVET college never hears the option said out loud.

The question we kept hearing was not “What do you want to study?” — it was “What do I even qualify for?” That question has an answer. It is just buried in prospectuses, PDFs and admission tables written for administrators, not for teenagers.

GET FUTURE was built by people who have sat in those classrooms and made those phone calls. We do the digging, then hand back something a learner can actually use.
